On August 31, we enjoyed a great trip to Truckee.
We met at McDonalds at 8:00 am and headed for Reno. At Hallelujah Jct. we took Hwy. 70 to Vinton. Then we
went south on Hwy 49 to Sierraville, and then Hwy. 89 into Truckee. We did some yard sales in Truckee and some shopping. We
then drove on down to Squaw Valley. We visited a very nice Church, then went back to Truckee for a picnic lunch. We then started
our return. We went back to Sierraville, then we went to Calpine, Quincy, Greenville and to Westwood. We stopped in Westwood
and had dinner at Buffalo Chip's. We then returned to Susanville. Everyone had a great time on this trip and looking forward
to going again.
