We started out the month with the Chester Parade. On Friday, the forth, Bill and Deb left Susanville early so we could
find a place to park. We arrived in Chester at 9:00 AM and guess what. No place to park. The town was packed. Then we got
lucky and ran into fellow Club member, Jim Carr and his blue buggy. The owner of the Antlers Motel was very kind and allowed
us to park in his drive way during the prade. A few minutes later Larry and Hilda joined us and we all enjoyed a very nice
prade.
On Saturday the fifth, Larry and Hilda, Bill and Deb enjoyed a nice breakfast at Walker's in Susanville, then
traveled to Westwood for the Paul Bunyan days and entered our buggies in the Show and Shine. The town of Westwood put on a
very nice parade and Jim and Judy Car's blue buggy took first place. Way to go folks. We saw some nice cars and enjoyed the
day.
